Welcome to Millis ("Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Millis platform, you ("Player," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will notify you via email and/or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.
The Platform is available to residents of the United States, except in the following states where paid skill-based contests are restricted or prohibited:
If you reside in or are physically located in a restricted state, you may not participate in paid contests or maintain a funded wallet. We may use geolocation technology to enforce these restrictions. Attempting to circumvent geographic restrictions (via VPN or other means) is a violation of these Terms and grounds for immediate account termination and forfeiture of funds.
Each individual may have only one Millis account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in termination of all associated accounts and forfeiture of all balances.
Millis is a skill-based competition platform. Contest outcomes are determined entirely by each player's physical reaction time ā a measurable human skill. While contest conditions include a randomized delay before the "GO" signal (between 1.5 and 4 seconds), this randomization applies equally to all participants and does not determine contest outcomes.
Millis contests are games of skill, not games of chance. Entry fees are paid for the opportunity to participate in a skill-based contest, not as wagers or bets on uncertain outcomes. Players compete based on their own demonstrated ability.
Participating in contests does not guarantee any financial return. Results depend entirely on your skill relative to other participants. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
You must provide accurate information during registration, including a valid email address, display name, date of birth, and state of residence. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
Your Millis wallet stores funds for contest entry and receives contest winnings. Wallet balances are not bank deposits, are not insured by the FDIC or any government agency, and do not earn interest. Funds in your wallet are held by Millis for the purpose of facilitating contest participation.
Deposits are processed through our third-party payment processor. The minimum deposit amount is $5.00 USD. Deposits are credited to your wallet only after payment confirmation. Processing fees may apply as disclosed during the deposit process.
The minimum withdrawal amount is $10.00 USD. Withdrawal requests are subject to review and approval. We reserve the right to verify your identity before processing withdrawals. Withdrawals are processed to your original payment method or an alternative method at our discretion. Processing times vary but typically complete within 3-7 business days.
Each contest run consists of 3 reaction time attempts. Your final score is the floor of the average of your 3 attempts (lower is better). Entry fees range from $0.50 to $20.00 per run. Each paid run automatically enters you into both the active daily and weekly contests.
Each entry fee is distributed as follows:
When a contest period ends, prizes are awarded to the top 3 players:
If fewer than 2 players participate, no prizes are awarded and the pool rolls over to the next contest period.
Players who achieve a final score below the boost target for their entry fee tier earn a performance bonus equal to 2x their entry fee, paid from the Boost Bank. If the Boost Bank has insufficient funds, the bonus is held and paid automatically when funds become available (first in, first out). Pending bonuses never expire.
Daily contests close at midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST). Weekly contests close at midnight EST on Sunday. All times are EST regardless of daylight saving time.
A false start (tapping before the GO signal) results in a fixed score of 2000ms for the entire run. If a run is abandoned (browser closed, connection lost, or 5 minutes of inactivity), remaining attempts are scored as 2000ms and averaged with completed attempts. No refunds are issued for false starts or abandoned runs.
You may enter as many runs as you wish. Only your best score counts on the leaderboard. Each run costs an entry fee regardless of whether your score improves.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension, termination, and forfeiture of funds:
We employ automated systems to detect suspicious activity, including but not limited to: reaction times below human capability (<50ms auto-rejected, <100ms flagged for review), unusual patterns, server-client timing discrepancies, and rapid-fire submissions. Flagged accounts are reviewed by our team. We reserve sole discretion to determine what constitutes cheating.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or any other reason. Upon termination, we may, at our discretion, allow withdrawal of remaining funds or freeze the account balance pending investigation. You may request account deletion at any time, provided your wallet balance is zero and you have no active or pending runs.
You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on your contest winnings. Under United States federal law, if your net winnings in a calendar year equal or exceed the applicable reporting threshold (currently $2,000 for tax year 2026), we are required to collect your taxpayer identification information (SSN or TIN via IRS Form W-9) and file an information return (Form 1099-MISC) with the IRS. We may withhold funds from your account as required by law if you fail to provide valid taxpayer information.
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, sounds, and software, is the property of Millis or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our written permission.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS FROM USING THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MILLIS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ENTRY FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in the State of California. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. This arbitration agreement does not preclude you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Millis is committed to responsible gaming and player welfare. While Millis is a skill-based competition — not gambling — we recognize that any real-money activity should be approached responsibly. We provide tools and resources to help you stay in control.
If you or someone you know needs help, these free, confidential resources are available 24/7:
You can voluntarily exclude yourself from paid contests. During exclusion, you cannot enter paid contests or deposit funds. Your wallet balance is preserved and you can still withdraw. After the exclusion period ends, you must manually re-enable paid play.
Control your spending by setting deposit limits. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit has a 24-hour cooling-off period.
